Kyle Rhodes Wins February Freeze Trophy Race

Tekno RC Team driver won the electric buggy class at the recent February Freeze race held at Wolcott Hobby and Raceway in Waterbury, Connecticut. Here is a report from Kyle:

"On Saturday February 13th I attended the annual February freeze trophy race at my home track, Wolcott Hobby and Raceway. I competed in 1/8th Electric buggy for the first time with the EB48.3, we had one heat of E buggy for this event. We ran two five minute qualifiers followed by a six minute main. I was able to set TQ in round one and reset it again in the second qualifier to secure the overall TQ for the main. When the tone went off I was able to quickly break away from the pack and focus on turning clean consistent laps. As the race ended I took the win with a lap on the field. Reinaldo Vega took home second driving a Tekno EB48SL and fellow Tekno RC team driver Zachary Sampiere took third also debuting his EB48.3. My buggy was dialed all day and didn't need any changes."
